Composition :Amoxycillin 200 mg & Potassium Clavulanate 28.5 mg Dispersible Tablets

• Amoxycillin: This is a penicillin-class antibiotic that works by inhibiting the formation of the bacterial cell wall, which is essential for the bacteria's survival. This leads to the destruction (lysis) of the bacteria, stopping their growth and effectively killing them.

• Potassium Clavulanate: This is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Some bacteria produce an enzyme called beta-lactamase, which can break down and inactivate amoxycillin, making the antibiotic ineffective. Potassium clavulanate works by binding to and deactivating this enzyme, thus protecting amoxycillin from degradation and extending its effectiveness against a broader range of bacteria, including those that have developed resistance.
