Composition : Naproxen 500 mg and Domperidone 10 mg Tablets
The two ingredients work as a team to fix this problem:
Naproxen (500 mg): This is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that trigger pain, swelling, and inflammation in the blood vessels of the brain.
Domperidone (10 mg): This is a prokinetic and anti-emetic (anti-nausea) drug. It does two crucial things: it directly blocks nausea signals in the brain, and it speeds up the movement of your stomach. By getting your digestive system moving again, it helps your body absorb the naproxen much faster, bringing quicker pain relief.
Primary Usages
Acute Migraine Attacks: To stop a migraine attack in its tracks. It is most effective when taken at the very first sign of a headache, or during the "aura" phase (when you might experience visual disturbances like flashing lights or blind spots before the pain hits)
Severe Tension Headaches with Nausea: Occasionally, doctors prescribe it for severe, throbbing tension headaches if they are intense enough to cause dizziness or stomach upset.
